In addition to comprehensive financial planning programs, many companies
provide certain services to their employees "a la carte." Our modular
financial planning program allows individuals to choose from 8 financial
planning modules, in line with their own interests and the budget
provided by the corporate sponsor.
The modules to choose from are:
- Data gathering and review - A review of a client's current personal
and financial situations, goals and objectives. We assess which
financial planning areas need attention and form an action plan.
- Cash management and tax analysis - We review a client's net worth,
cash flow and the tax implications of both, as well as options to
maximize after-tax income.
- Estate planning - We review a client's current will and make
recommendations to structure the estate to achieve the client's goals.
- Risk management - A review of all life, disability, and general
insurance coverage to determine if it is adequate for the client.
- Retirement planning - Involves the preparation of financial
calculations, including how much capital a client needs to realize his
or her retirement goals, and the development of a plan to help them
reach those goals.
- Investment management analysis - We review a client's investment
strategy and ensure it matches their risk tolerance and growth goals. We
also review and make recommendations on RRSP and education savings
programs.
- Tax return preparation - We prepare the client's current year's tax
return, as well as the spouse's return. Follow-up is provided to handle
tax assessments and assistance handling CCRA queries.
- Annual Review and update - An annual check-up to review the client's
situation and monitor their progress.
